iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 features
Both iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 include SharePlay, which allows users to share their screens on FaceTime and watch videos or listen to music while on the phone. FaceTime will also support Spatial Audio. During group calls, all of the participants' screens are grouped together and displayed in a grid view, with the speaker's box highlighted.
During video calls, users will also be able to use Portrait Mode to blur out the background. Additionally, the microphone can be configured in three modes: standard, voice isolation, and wide spectrum. Users will now be able to invite others via a special weblink, regardless of whether they are using Windows or Android software.

iPadOS 15 now contains new multitasking features that allow users to customise how their iPad's screen is used. In some iPad models, the Multitasking menu allows users to create a Full Screen, Slide Over, Split View, and a floating window. Users can also add widgets to their Home Screen for various apps. The new software allows users to take notes on any app via a separate notes window that can be accessed via a variety of methods.
Links shared by other users via the Messages app on iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 will be classified as 'Shared with You.' Photos, Safari, Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, and the Apple TV app all have this feature. Users can customise their Memoji's clothing and headwear, as well as add accessibility accessories such as cochlear implants, oxygen tubes, and soft helmets. The image layout in the Messages app has also been updated.

The Focus Mode is another new feature for iOS 15 and iPadOS 15. This new feature allows users to only enable notifications from apps that they consider important. Apple has made some presets available, including Driving, Fitness, Gaming, Mindfulness, Reading, and others. Users can, however, customise their own Focus mode. Apps such as Messages will display a notification if a user has activated the Focus mode.
The Notification Center has also been redesigned by Apple. Notifications will now display contact photos and larger app icons, making it easier for users to distinguish between them. A new feature called Notification Summary, which can be scheduled, is also available. Apple Maps has also been revamped by the Cupertino-based tech behemoth. Safari also gains a new bottom tab bar, Tab Groups, Extensions, and Voice Search.
