According to Business Insider, SpaceX security personnel told deputies that they saw the woman "roaming" around the fifth floor of the SpaceX building. According to the official press release, Parker informed security that she worked for SpaceX and wanted to speak with Musk.
Deputies later discovered that she was not a SpaceX employee during a preliminary investigation. According to the press release, surveillance cameras captured her entering the building around 5:30 p.m.
Parker was later discovered evading detention but was apprehended on the property, according to the press release. She was then taken to the Carrizales-Rucker Detention Center, where she remained pending arraignment.
Parker faced "a third-degree felony charge for assaulting a public servant during the arrest, as well as various Class A misdemeanours for criminal trespassing, evading arrest detention, and resisting arrest," according to the publication and the press release.
