Ten Years After went Missing, A Woman Finds Her iPhone

A phone that has been lost is nearly impossible to locate. Why limit yourself to a phone? There's a slim chance you'll be able to reclaim something you lost nearly ten years ago. However, after nearly ten years of searching, a woman in Maryland was able to recover her iPhone. Becki, from Maryland, had misplaced her iPhone ten years ago on a Halloween night. With no hope of recovering it, she did what most of us would do and purchased a new phone. However, ten years later, a minor problem in her toilet reunited her with her lost phone.

Becki revealed in a Facebook post that she had no idea how she lost her iPhone 4s because she had not stepped outside. So there was no chance of it being stolen. She quickly replaced the phone, however, and moved on. "It was mysterious, but it was gone," she said. She had no idea that ten years later, she would be reunited with her phone, all because of a toilet issue.

When Becki and her husband flushed the toilet, they began to hear a "banging sound." She revealed that at first, the couple blamed it on the toilet being old or the poor quality of the house construction. But when they kept hearing the noise, the husband became agitated and decided to plunge it. Becki was in for a rude awakening after a brief plunge. Her husband came running outside to tell her she "wouldn't believe what he found in our toilet," she wrote on Facebook.

Becki's husband recovered her iPhone 4s, which had gone missing ten years before. The device was discovered with its back completely open. It is unreasonable to expect the phone to be in good working order. It wasn't in perfect condition, but it wasn't in bad shape either. Becki's Facebook post received over 700 comments.

"Now how come my glass screen breaks when I even so much as look at it funny but you can literally sh*t on yours for years and it's perfect?" wrote one user, who was as surprised as many of us.

"There's no way it was stuck in your toilet for 10 years and never caused an issue until it started making a sound," another user wrote. "How have y'all not had any clogging?" one user wondered. My townhouse gets one baby wipe in its pipe, and I get all the sh-t from my neighbours in my laundry room."
