Realme GT 2 Pro, GT 2 phones to launch today, check live stream details, specs, and price

Realme GT 2 Pro

After months of teasers and speculations, the Realme GT 2 series will finally launch today. The upcoming series will include the first true flagship phone from Realme. This phone, the GT2 Pro, will all be high-end phones from companies like OnePlus, Xiaomi and Oppo, which means it will have best-in-class displays, fastest processors, good cameras and advanced battery charging technology. But since this is a realme phone, the price will definitely be aggressive.

Realme is yearning to make it to the big boys club. Its parent company, Oppo, joined the launch of the Find X series, while OnePlus was initially mostly on the outskirts but is very well a coveted member. Realme started out as a brand that sold mass market products, but soon realized its popularity was growing and it could take advantage of this. So a high-end flagship seems like the best way to do this.

Realme GT 2 series launch live stream

Realme will kick off the launch event in China at 7.30 pm CST. This translates to 5 pm in India. The live stream of the launch will be available on the Realme China website and Weibo.

What to expect from the launch event of the Realme GT 2 series

Realme is primarily expected to launch the Realme GT 2 and Realme GT 2 Pro smartphones today. But there is a possibility that the Realme GT 2 Master Edition will also make its debut with both. Realme might also have a few accessories to show off, but I'm not sure about them.

Realme GT 2 Series Specifications and Price

The details of both of the three phones are in front of everyone. Realme GT will be the vanilla phone of the 2 series. It is expected to come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. However, a report suggested that there could be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset inside. In this phone you can get up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The Realme GT 2 could sport a 50-megapixel triple camera setup at the back and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. A 5000mAh battery can be used in this with 65W fast charging.

The Realme GT 2 Pro, on the other hand, will be the top-end phone with a 6.7-inch 2K LTPO display with punch-hole and 120Hz refresh rate. It will have Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection on top. Heart rate monitor can also be installed in the fingerprint sensor of this phone. The GT2 Pro may come with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor, which is used in flagship phones like the Find X3 Pro. The camera may feature optical image stabilization for the first time on a Realme phone, while the rear system could also include a microscope camera.
