OnePlus is preparing to launch new smart TVs in India, expanding its current lineup. According to a new report, these new TVs will be part of the Y1S TV series, and some of their key specifications have also been revealed.
According to 91Mobiles and well-known tipster Ishan Agarwal, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer intends to release new Y1S smart TVs in two sizes. There are two sizes available: 32 inch and 43 inch. In other words, the two new models will be available alongside the existing U1S, Y series, and Q1 lineup, which are available in India through Amazon, Flipkart, and the company's official website.
Ishan also revealed some key details about the upcoming Y1S TV series. The new OnePlus TVs will be powered by the Android TV 11 operating system and will include Dolby Audio on its 20W speakers. The display will support HDR10+, and connectivity options will include dual band WiFi, an upgrade from the existing models 2.4GHz only option. Notably, this news is consistent with a previous report that OnePlus would be launching new TVs in India soon. The new TVs will compete with other Chinese brands such as Realme, Xiaomi, and others.
