Making my bed in the morning is as much a part of my regular routine as charging my Apple Watch 6. That's because the smartwatch can only last roughly 18 hours (or up to 24 hours depending on usage) before it needs to be recharged.
Keeping my Apple Watch charged is simple as long as I'm at home or in the same bed every night. I charge it just before going to bed so that I may use the Apple Watch sleep monitoring feature. I top it off in the morning before my workout if necessary.

But what if I don't have access to a charger? While I keep an iPhone wire in my backpack for my iPhone 12 Pro Max, replacement Apple Watch cables are hard to come by. It's also less probable that if I visit a friend or relative and forget mine, they'll have one.
A USB port, on the other hand, can be found almost anyplace. That's why, when I saw this Newdery portable Apple Watch charger on Amazon for $10, I couldn't resist.
I generally'm a bit worried about random Apple-accessories from third parties — particularly those with mixed evaluations. Certain consumers appeared to be impressed by the convenience of this equipment, whilst others were complaining that it did not fulfill expectations.
I have therefore reduced my expectations. Perhaps it's excellent, because the small charger impressed me with the hell. And it is already paid for itself by enabling me keep my precious streak when it's put at risk by a dead battery.
I'm adamant about closing my activity rings every day, as are many other Apple Watch owners. If it means completing my goals, I go for extra walks at odd hours of the day. If yes, that indicates I've banked my hourly minute, I stand up and swing my arm around at the dinner table. You don't have to tell me it's extra because I already know from my family.
In reality, my item came in handy when I was staying with my folks. An Apple Watch charger, for some reason, did not make it into the overnight bag. I didn't recognize it until my smartwatch gave me the dreaded "10 percent battery remaining" notification near the end of the day.
I began to fret when I came up empty in my search of strange drawers in my former bedrooms, and I was still an evening walk away from wrapping up my move and exercising rings. That is, until I remembered that I had a backup on my keychain.
I put the charger's USB-A connector into a compatible wall adapter because I didn't know the charger's battery state. I then rested my Apple Watch on top of the base, which provided me with enough juice to see me through the rest of the day.
It no longer charges an Apple Watch as quickly as the charger that came with the device or any Apple-certified wire. But it'll do in a pinch. In little than an hour, my Apple Watch went from roughly 10% to 40%.
This device can also charge my Apple Watch without a wall adapter in circumstances where I don't have one. It's ideal for finishing out a day excursion, especially if I leave home with less battery than normal.
You won't be able to charge as quickly as you would with a regular charger. Consider adding this $10 puck to your keychain if you frequently need a spare Apple Watch cord or can't tolerate the notion of a dead battery ruining your activity streaks.
