Xiaomi Book Air 13 launched with 2.8K OLED display

Today marks the official launch of the Xiaomi Book Air 13 in China. It was unveiled alongside the Redmi Note 12 series, which includes the Pro, Pro+, and Explorer Edition models. Other devices released by the company include a new Redmi TV, a Redmi Projector, and an electric heater. The Xiaomi Book Air 13 is said to be the brand's thinnest and lightest laptop to date. The Xiaomi Book Air 3 has a 13.3-inch E4 OLED display with a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 pixels, a brightness of 600 nits, and a refresh rate of 60Hz. The screen has narrow bezels and supports Dolby Vision and the VESA Display HDR500 format. The laptop has a 2-in-1 design with a 360-degree hinge and touch support, allowing users to use it in a variety of form factors.

The Xiaomi Book Air 3 features a 6-series aluminium alloy and a CNC-integrated carving process. It is lightweight and thin, weighing only 1.2kg and measuring only 12mm.

The laptop includes dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and dual unit microphones. A backlit keyboard with a glass touchpad is included. The device includes an 8MP camera and a fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button.

The Xiaomi Book Air 13 is powered by up to 12th generation Intel Core i7 processors and an Intel Iris Xe GPU. It comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of SSD storage. Heat is dissipated by an oversized VC heat sink. The machine is powered by a 58.3WHr battery cell with 65W fast charging support. The laptop ships with the Windows 11 operating system.

WiFi-6E, Bluetooth 5.2, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, and an audio jack are among the connectivity options on the Xiaomi Book Air 13.

The Xiaomi Book Air 13 costs RMB 4,999 ($691) for the Core i5 model and RMB 5,599 ($774) for the i7 model. It is available in Beautiful White.
