Sennheiser Momentum 4 headphones now available for pre-order

Sennheiser has added new headphones to its Momentum premium device lineup, dubbed Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless, which have a different design than previous models.

The new noise-cancelling headphones are priced at $349.95 and have a more modern aesthetic than previous headphones. In addition, the new model is lighter and more comfortable to wear.

The Sennheiser Momentum 4 headphones are now available for pre-order, and the company will begin selling them on August 23rd.

The company claims that the Momentum 4s can provide up to 60 hours of playback time on a single charge, which is the highlight of the headphones. The battery life is nearly double that of competitor's products such as the Sony WH-1000XM5, Bose QuietComfort 45, and Apple AirPods Max.

It still uses 42mm drivers that are tuned for "brilliant dynamics, clarity, and musicality," according to the company. Sennheiser has also abandoned physical button controls in favour of the tap and swipe gestures used by other popular noise-cancelling headphones. It supports Bluetooth codecs such as AAC, SBC, aptX, and aptX Adaptive. It has multipoint connectivity as well as wired USB-C audio.

There are replaceable ear pads made of synthetic leather rather than the genuine leather that Sennheiser previously used. The new headphones, unlike previous models, cannot fold up, but they do come with an improved case with hardshell protection.
