Nothing just launched its first smartphone, the Phone (1), a few weeks ago. Is a less expensive Lite version on the way? In any case, the rumour is spreading. Everything, however, suggests that it is based on nothing.
A few weeks ago phone (1), its first phone nothing was released. Its uniqueness is to rely on an innovative design with a transparent back with LED. Will the new company have an idea to release a "lite" version of this product? Anyway, this is the rumor of the day.
The site The Mobile Indian claims that the manufacturer is working on a cheaper version of its phone (1). The idea would be to offer the same product but without the transparent back shell and specifically without the glyph system, these LEDs that make up the personality of the smartphone. In short, the design will lose all its appeal.
Nothing phone (1) lite version with no light on the back?
The site says that this Nothing Phone (1) Lite device will come with a 42W charger (while the original phone didn't have an on-board charger in the box), 6GB of RAM compared to 8GB for the former. The model will further benefit from a 5000mAh battery (compared to 4500mAh). For the rest it will be the same smartphone. It will be cheap, about $300.
This rumor still seems a little too big to be true. If the existence of "lite" models in the market is common, we still see it badly. Nothing is entering such an adventure for a number of reasons. The first is that some have always been teasing their products even before they are announced. So we should have heard about it. The brand wants to stand out from the rest of the market with the original design, which is also its trademark. There would be no point in making a smartphone "like the others". Finally, there's a more justifiable reason: no company is smaller and can't simultaneously launch a smartphone like a market giant.
So Nothing Phone (1) is unlikely to exist, but you never know, we might be surprised.
