The Motorola Edge series is well-liked by consumers. The company recently unveiled the latest Moto Edge (2022), which was the first smartphone to use the Dimensity 1050 SoC. Motorola appears to be preparing to release new Edge series smartphones on September 8.
Motorola recently teased the release of three new Edge series smartphones with a short video teaser on its official Twitter account. The teaser was posted with the caption "Find yourself closer to the edge...September 8." This confirms that new Motorola phones will be available on September 8. The teaser, however, did not reveal the names or any other details about the upcoming smartphones.
Motorola may rebrand the newly released Moto X30 Pro and Moto S30 Pro as Edge series smartphones for the global market. There are already rumours that the S30 Pro will be released in the global market as a Moto Edge 30 fusion.

To recap, the Moto X30 Pro has a 6.73-inch pOLED curved display with a refresh rate of 144Hz. It is powered by Qualcomm latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, which is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. Its main selling point is the camera setup. The device includes a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP1 camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens.

The Moto S30 Pro, on the other hand, features a 6.55-inch centred punch-hole 10-bit curved OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. It is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. On the back, it has a triple camera system with a 50MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor.
