Apple is preparing to launch the iPhone 14 series, and an official date has been set for September 7. Apple will unveil the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, 14 Max, and 14 Pro Max during its "Fall out" keynote. In addition, we anticipate a new AirPods Pro and an Apple Watch Series 8 with a rugged Pro version.
The iPhone 14 series will undoubtedly receive attention, and it has also been the subject of leaks in recent days. As the launch date gets closer, we anticipate more leaks. Having said that, a new wave of dummy models is emerging from Asia. These models claim to show the iPhone 14 Pro in a variety of colorways, including the iPhone 14 Pro Blue and Purple.
Apple iPhone 14 Pro Blue and Purple Color Options
The iPhone 14 Pro dummy models appeared on Weibo first. There are three standard colorways available: graphite, gold, and silver. These colours have been available for a number of years. The new Pro lineup is the only one with the Dark Purple and Blue colour options. Surprisingly, the antenna bands on the iPhone 14 Pro Gold and Purple models contrast sharply with the frame. The antennas are white and stand out in these dark colorways.
Rumors of a Purple colour for the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max have circulated for some time. This particular option was mentioned in reports earlier this year. According to the rumours, this colour changes tone depending on the lighting. It may not be as advanced as Vivo color-changing technology, but the concept is the same. Apple, interestingly, has already paved the way for this colour. Apple introduced a purple variant of the iPhone 12 and 12 mini in April of last year. Purple colorways are also available for the 24-inch iMac, 6th generation iPad mini, and 5th generation iPad Air. As a result, Apple has no reason not to bring this colour, as it is essentially standardised in its portfolio.
Color-changing UV light on the back? Certainly not
According to MacRumors, Apple may adopt the technology used on the Sierra Blue colorway of the iPhone 13 Pro. Sierra Blue is the first to benefit from a new manufacturing process that employs "multiple layers of nanometer-scale metallic ceramics applied across the surface for a stunning and durable finish." Apple may use this technology instead of something more advanced, as Vivo and Realme are doing with their color-changing smartphones.
Another tweet depicts the Purple iPhone 14 Pro colorway and the camera larger bump, which was designed to accommodate the 48 MP snapper. The new punch-hole design for the Face ID sensors and front-facing cameras is also shown.
Purple only appears at certain angles.

It should be noted, however, that you should take these dummies with a grain of salt. After all, they're not perfectly accurate and are made of plastic. In any case, we can get a good idea of what the company is about to launch. Aside from the Purple colorway, this Blue finish is also unique. It cannot be compared to the lighter-toned Blue iPhone 13. Likewise, it is not the same as the iPhone 12 series, which has a subtle blue option. This new colorway has more saturation while remaining darker.
When it comes to the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, these two devices are significant upgrades for iPhone 13 owners. Unlike the standard iPhone 14 and 14 Max, the Pro models include a newer Apple A16 chip, 48 MP main cameras, and some exclusive iOS 16 features such as Always On Display. The vanilla smartphones will use the Apple A15 processor and have the same notched design as the iPhone 13 series.
