Apple Mixed Reality Headset to Launch in January 2023

Apple AR/VR headset

We've already covered a number of reports about Apple launching its first mixed reality headset. The most recent information about this product has revealed that the new AR/VR headset may be launched at the beginning of next year, but it may burn a hole in your wallet.

Ming-Chi Kuo, a well-known analyst, reported. He claimed in a new tweet that the Cupertino-based company plans to launch its "next revolutionary consumer electronics product after the iPhone" next year. For those who are unaware, the mixed reality headset will reportedly support both Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality. But, unfortunately, it will also be quite costly. It will reportedly cost between 2,000 and 2,500 US dollars when it is launched.

The analyst also stated that the mixed reality headset could be available as early as January 2023. According to Kuo, the announcement of this headset will also focus on three aspects. Its applications, the software/service/development ecosystem, and hardware specifications are all part of this. Interestingly, the mixed reality headset isn't the only one that the company is working on, as he claims that Apple will also launch an AR-only headset.

Aside from that, the company will reportedly release a low-cost version of its headset products by early 2025. Unfortunately, the analyst only shared this information on Twitter. Even if this report is correct, the product announcement is still months away. However, we can expect more leaks in the near future, so stay tuned for more information.
