On July 12, Realme will launch the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer edition smartphone in China. The smartphone design was revealed by the company yesterday. A couple of reservation listings for the device appeared on JD.com ahead of the launch (via). Some of these listings have revealed the smartphone specifications.
The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer edition will be available in three configurations, as shown in the screenshot below: 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. The device is expected to have a starting price of 3,999 Yuan ($596).
The leather back of the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer edition will be paired with a hard metal casing. According to the TENAA listing, the device will be available in green and white. Aside from the Master Explorer phone, the company will also announce the Realme Buds Air Neo 3 and a laptop, which will most likely be called the Realme Book Air on July 12. According to the JD listing, the earbuds will be available in two colours: Starry Night Blue and Streamer White.

The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer will have a 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display with a fingerprint scanner. It will have a 16-megapixel selfie camera. It will have a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel lens on the back panel. The device will ship with Android 12 OS and Realme UI 3.0 preinstalled.
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage will be included in the device. It will include a 5,000mAh battery with 100W charging support.
