Mira Sorvino Pays Tribute to Father Paul Sorvino

Mira Sorvino paid tribute to her father, actor Paul Sorvino, who died today at the age of 83 after battling health issues, on Twitter.

"My father, the great Paul Sorvino, has passed away," she wrote on Twitter. "My heart is shattered; a life of love, joy, and wisdom with him is over." He was an incredible father. I adore him to pieces. As you ascend, I'm sending you love in the stars, Dad."

Paul Sorvino death was announced earlier today by his wife Dee Dee Sorvino.
