The first trailer for Halloween Ends was released today, giving horror fans a sneak peek at what is being billed as the final showdown between series regular Laurie Strode and masked menace Michael Myers.
Halloween Ends, the 13th film in the 44-year-old franchise, will be the fourth in the new continuity established by 2018's Halloween, which ignored all prior films except the 1978 original.
Halloween Ends will be "a love letter to franchise creator John Carpenter," according to director David Gordon Green, and will be very different from Halloween Kills.
Curtis said goodbye to her role in a personal Instagram post in February. "A bittersweet END for me on the Halloween films," she wrote, before thanking the actors and creative teams with whom she had worked over the years.
