The Realme UI 3.0 stable update rollout will be done in batches, and users must be on the most recent firmware version of Realme UI 2.0 to be eligible for the update. Realme 8 Pro users will receive RMX3081 11.A.47 / RMX3081 11.A.48; Realme 7 Pro users will receive RMX2170 11.C.30 / RMX2170 11.C.32; and Realme C25s users will receive RMX3197 11.A.19 / RMX3197 11.A.20.

In terms of new features, Realme claims that Realme UI 3.0 has been revamped with a new design that aims to provide a more comfortable, natural, and simpler user experience. The Realme UI 3.0 update changelog for the Realme 8 Pro, Realme 7 Pro, and Realme C25s is identical, and you can read through all of the new features and highlights in the changelog we've attached below.

If you do decide to upgrade to Android 12, Realme has identified several common issues reported by users following the Android 12 upgrade:

  • It may take longer to boot the first time, especially if you have a lot of third-party apps on your phone.
  • To improve system efficiency and eliminate potential safety risks, the system will perform a series of actions such as application adaptation, background optimization, and security scanning, which may result in minor hanging and increased power consumption.

Note: However, these software issues will normally go away once a week has passed and your phone has adapted to the new system.

Realme 7 Pro

The Realme 7 Pro is the oldest of the three, having debuted on September 14, 2020, nearly two years ago. It shipped with Realme UI 1.0, which is based on Android 10. And the Android 12 update is expected to be the smartphone's final major Android OS upgrade, as it has already received two Android OS upgrades during its life cycle. To begin with, the phone featured the first AMOLED display on a Realme number series device, a mid-range Snapdragon 720G processor, and support for 65W SuperDart fast wired charging, making it a very competitive mid-range device in the market at the time.

Meanwhile, in 2021, both the Realme 8 Pro and the Realme C25s were launched with Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11. The Realme 8 Pro had a Snapdragon 720G chipset, a 108MP main camera, and 50W fast wired charging, while the Realme C25s had it. A Helio G85 SoC and a 6000mAh battery.
