Multiple flagship smartphones from Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus, Realme, Vivo, iQOO, and others have already been released in the first half of 2022. Xiaomi 12S series, iPhone 14 series, OnePlus 10T 5G, Motorola Edge 30 Ultra upcoming flagship smartphone in 2022
iPhone 14 series
This year, Apple will release four new iPhone 14 models. The iPhone 14 will be joined by the larger iPhone 14 Max. Both non-Pro iPhone 14 models will be designed like the iPhone 13 and will use the same A15 Bionic chip. There will also be a dual-camera setup on the back.
This year, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will receive significant upgrades. The wide notch will be replaced by a hole punch and a pill-shaped cutout for the front camera and Face ID sensors. In addition, the Pro models will feature a new 48MP triple-camera setup and the new A16 Bionic chip.
In case you were wondering, the iPhone 14 mini will not be released this year, contrary to popular belief. The iPhone 14 launch event is expected to take place on September 13.
Xiaomi 12S series
The Xiaomi 12S launch event will take place on July 4. The Xiaomi 12S, 12S Pro, and 12S Ultra will be the company's first premium smartphones. The Xiaomi 12S series will include camera sensors tuned by Leica. The Xiaomi 12S Ultra will also have a 1-inch Sony IMX989 main camera.
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC will be found in all three Xiaomi smartphones. The Xiaomi 12S Pro is also expected to come equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC. The AMOLED display on all three phones is expected to be 120Hz.
Motorola Edge 30 Ultra
The Edge 30 Ultra, codenamed Frontier, will come with a 200MP triple-camera setup on the back. It will also include the new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and 125W fast charging support. The phone could have a 5000 mAh battery, a 6.8-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, and a 60MP front camera.
The Edge 30 Ultra will be launch in China in July 2022.
OnePlus 10T 5G
The OnePlus 10T 5G will be launched as a new premium smartphone in the OnePlus 10 series. The OnePlus 10R will be placed between the OnePlus 10R and the OnePlus 10 Pro. The 10T 5G will have a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, and a 50MP triple-camera setup, according to the leaked specifications. The Hasselblad branding and the iconic OnePlus alert slider will be absent from the OnePlus 10T 5G.
The design is similar to the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G, but without the curved display. It will have a 4800 mAh battery and will support 150W fast charging. The OnePlus 10T 5G will be available in India later this year. At the time of writing, the OnePlus 10T 5G launch date had not been announced.
iQOO 9T
The iQOO 9T will be the iQOO 9 series' mid-cycle refresh. The device will be positioned between the iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro. The iQOO 9 key specifications have leaked online. The phone will have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, a 6.78-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, 120W fast charging support, and other features, according to the leaked iQOO 9T specifications.
The phone is expected to be launched in July.
