The Xiaomi 12 Ultra is expected to be launched in July. As the Xiaomi 12 Pro smartphone is already on the market, this will most likely be the series flagship model. While the company has not yet confirmed the existence of the Ultra model, a well-known tipster @OnLeaks (on Twitter) has revealed key specifications, price, and renders of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra in collaboration with Zouton.

According to the cited source, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra could be priced around $1,350. The price appears to be too high, and if Xiaomi intends to launch it in the Indian market, the cost is expected to be slightly lower. In India, Apple also sells devices that cost more than a lakh rupees. The iPhone 13 Pro is currently available for $1,544 for the 128GB model. The iPhone 13 Pro Max model is priced in the country at $1,674 for the 128GB variant.

Xiaomi 12 Ultra: Expected specs and features
The Xiaomi 12 Ultra is expected to have a 6.6-inch AMOLED screen. The company may choose a curved screen, which is common in the premium segment. The panel could support 1 billion colours, a refresh rate of 120Hz, a peak brightness of 1,700nits, and a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels. According to reports, the display will be HDR 10+ certified, allowing users to enjoy high-quality content.

It will most likely be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, which is already found in popular flagship phones like the Samsung Galaxy S22, OnePlus 10 Pro, and others. According to the rumour mill, the device will also have a dual speaker system. The handset will have a punch-hole display in the centre. It has a ceramic back panel, an aluminium frame, and an in-display fingerprint sensor, according to reports.
In terms of camera, a leaked image of the alleged phone shows a total of seven cutouts on the rear camera module. The Xiaomi 12 Ultra is expected to come with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 48-megapixel wide-angle sensor, a 48-megapixel periscope camera, and other features. The rest of the information about other sensors is still unknown. A 20-megapixel selfie camera could be installed on the front.
