For the past few days, various Spotify users have been sharing their pie charts on social media. Here's an explanation of what they are and how to make your own.
What is Spotify Pie Chart?
The Spotify pie chart, like Spotify Unwrapped, provides a visual representation of your music preferences. Your 'pie' will be divided into different colours, each with its own key indicating which style it belongs to.

Your core styles are more diverse, ranging from Canadian metalcore to nu-metal and post-grunge.
Underneath the keys, you'll also find a list of the artists you listen to the most, arranged from top to bottom with the font getting smaller as you go.
Unlike Spotify Unwrapped, the Spotify pie chart can be updated monthly, allowing you to track how your music tastes have changed throughout the year rather than receiving a single large summary.
How to Build Your Own Spotify Pie Chart
You can create your own Spotify pie chart through the creator Darren Huang website. If you log into your Spotify account through the website, you will need to agree to the site to analyze your listening date.
Once you do that, your pie chart will be created automatically. The site works on both desktop and mobile, but only works for Spotify accounts and not any other music streaming platform like Deezer or Apple Music.
