The Poco F4 5G will be available in globally "soon." The company has set up a dedicated site that highlights some of its key specifications ahead of the official launch. The company has revealed that its upcoming smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset, which is also used in notable 'affordable' flagship devices such as the OnePlus 9R 5G and iQoo Neo 6 5G.
According to the dedicated website, the upcoming Poco F4 5G will feature a Liquidcool 2.0 cooling system with a 3,112mm sq vapour chamber and seven-layered graphite sheets. During intense gaming sessions, it may boost or at least maintain the smartphone high performance.
Poco has revealed that the Poco F4 5G will come with at least 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Based on previous launches, we can anticipate more storage models for the smartphone. However, the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage unit will be the most expensive.
Other official details about the camera and display have yet to be revealed, but thanks to an elaborate leak, we have a good idea of what to expect. Recently, alleged live images of the Poco F4 5G surfaced online, highlighting a green colour variant. The company may introduce new colours, such as black or its badge Poco Yellow.
Rootmygalaxy alleged live images with Passionategeekz also show triple rear cameras inside a black rectangular module. According to the rear camera module, the Poco F4 5G will have a 64-megapixel primary camera with OIS. A flat-edge design inspired by the iPhone 12 series is also visible.
According to the report, the Poco F4 5G will have a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, 67W fast charging support, and Android 12-based MIUI 13 out of the box.
Pricing for the Poco F4 5G is unknown, though Poco may price the device aggressively to compete with rivals such as OnePlus, Samsung, and iQoo. Poco gaming-focused Poco F3 is priced at $299 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM model.
