It was previously reported that the company will release three versions of the AR glasses over the next few years. According to a report, the company believes that the AR glasses are not yet ready for general consumers and that there is still much work to be done, so the glasses will be given to developers first. The codename for the second version of Meta AR glasses is Artemis, and it will reportedly be produced in greater volumes so that it can be made available to the public.

Furthermore, the company has been working on a more affordable version of the AR glasses, which is rumoured to be codenamed Hypernova and could be unveiled next year. These glasses will include features such as message and call notifications. According to a recent report, Meta has halted development of the two camera smartwatch that they were planning to unveil in the near future. This could be due to the company desire to include EMG technology in the smartwatch.
