Google Pixel 6a: Design and Features

The Pixel 6a is shown from every angle in the unboxing video. Its design is similar to that of the flagship Pixel 6 series. It's a good thing the device doesn't have a protruding rear camera module. A speaker grille and a USB Type-C port are located at the phone bottom. This one appears to have a glass back panel and lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack. The video also demonstrates that the Pixel 6a will be able to use camera features like Magic Eraser, Real Tone, Face Blur, and others. A USB-C to USB-C cable and a USB-A to USB-C adapter are included in the retail box.

Google has already confirmed that the Pixel 6a will be available in India. However, the company has not yet revealed the 5G phone official India launch date. The Pixel 6a will first be available in the United States and Japan in July. Google has already announced that the device will be available in Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and Spain in the future.

Google Pixel 6a: Display

The Pixel 6a standout feature is its 6.1-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. It does not support the 120Hz refresh rate, and the panel will only refresh at 60Hz, which is the industry standard. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protects the display, which is HDR certified. This one is powered by Google Tensor chip, which is also found in the brand high-end Pixel 6 series. It comes with a Titan M2 security chip.

Google Pixel 6a: Camera

A 12.2-megapixel primary camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor are included in the dual rear camera setup. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The device is IP67 rated, which means it has some water resistance. For biometric authentication, there is also an under-display fingerprint sensor. In addition, the handset has stereo speakers and dual microphones. The Pixel 6a has a 4,306mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. USB Type C port, GPS, Wi-Fi, 4G VoLTE, and other connectivity options are available.
