There are plenty of options for truly wireless earbuds on the market these days, especially in the budget segment. Packed with features like touch controls, bass-boosted audio quality, and the most commonly used term these days, ANC - active noise cancellation - has been one of the buzzwords when purchasing a new pair of TWS.

Budget earbuds, on the other hand, are frequently compromised in terms of effectiveness. The latest Oppo TWS, on the other hand, disproves this notion. The Enco Air2 Pro delivers strong ANC performance in the under 4k category, which impressed us.

Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro: Design
Oppo brings another shiny pebble-shaped charging case with stem-like earbuds inside, without deviating from the safe design that we usually see in earbuds. Oppo kept an additional transparent layer on top of the lid to add a fun element to that old classic design. The front is left blank with only the battery indicator, while the Oppo logo sits on top of the lid opening space on the back. Overall, the design and construction make it easy to carry in your pocket, but the glossy surface quickly scratches.

When it comes to the earbuds, the silicone ear-tips, as opposed to the non-pro Enco Air2 earbuds, provide the perfect fit. At least, not for me! Because of their perfect fit and IP54 dust and water resistance rating, these earbuds are the only ones I'd consider carrying for workout sessions.
Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro: ANC Audio Performance
It is difficult to find audio performance that can handle all genres in the under 4k segment. However, Enco Air 2 Pro did an excellent job! You can listen to all kinds of music, including pop, Punjabi, EDM, and whatever else you want, thanks to its bass-heavy performance. Aside from that, you may notice a lack of detailing in classical music, but changing the mode from bass boost to Clear Vocals via the app can help to alleviate this to some extent. The sound is a little distorted at maximum volume, and the lows sound a little flat. I mostly used the earbuds at 60-80 percent volume, which produced the best sound.

It allows communication to take place without significant disruption when calling. When it comes to its ANC system, it is right on target, especially given the price! It filters out all background noise, such as fans whirling and distant traffic sounds. People chattering can even fade out to a greater extent when your music is playing. While transparency mode aids in hearing sounds from outside when necessary.
Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro: Connectivity Features
Enco Air2 Pro uses Bluetooth 5.2 to ensure fast connectivity. The touch controls, on the other hand, can be customised to your liking. If you own an Oppo smartphone, you can even use the extended features directly from the Bluetooth settings.

While the Hey Melody app will do the same for non-Oppo users. It allows you to manage all of the necessary settings, such as changing music modes and using touch controls. At this price, earbuds also include in-ear detection features, which is quite impressive. Not only that, but the Oppo smartphone allows you to take photos with a single tap of the earbuds (just like the remote selfie control button!) Though I discovered a few seconds of lag in the wearing detection sensor, I did not notice any significant impact on performance as a result of this.
Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro: Battery Backup
Oppo claims 5 hours of battery life with ANC on paper, which appears to be the case in practise as well. With ANC, I could easily get 4.5 hours of battery life while keeping the volume around 60-70. This includes approximately an hour of continuous music and calling. The charging case can also be used to recharge the earbuds three times more. That means you can easily get 18-19 hours of playback time in total, which is reasonable for the price. However, once the charging case's battery runs out, it takes nearly 2 hours to recharge, including the earbuds.
Our Verdict
The Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro appears to have a lot of features, good audio, and intuitive controls. And, based on my experience, it almost delivers the same in real life.
The overall experience of the Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro earbuds is defined by the bass-worthy sound, robust ANC, decent battery life, and great fit. The Enco Air2 Pro earbuds come with a slew of smart features, including in-ear wear recognition, one-earbud use, app integration, configurable touch controls, earbud-based volume control, and more. The Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro earbuds, which cost Rs. 3,499, (arround 46$) are one of our favourites in the under 4,000 thousands (arround 52$) price range.
However, in light of the stiff competition, the Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro does not stand out or disappoint you in any way. It correctly checks all of the checkboxes. If you have an Oppo smartphone, the Enco Air2 Pro will provide a more smooth experience; otherwise, you can choose from Boat, Noise, JBL, and a variety of other major audio manufacturers.
