Have you ever thought about what phone Bill Gates uses? So, the man has revealed the identity of his phone. No, it's not an iPhone. Gates phone is foldable, but it is not a Microsoft Surface Duo. I understand that it is natural to expect a Microsoft founder to use a phone made by the same company, but I guess Gates does not share the same ideology. The founder of Microsoft owns a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3.
According to 9to5Google, Gates stated that he uses a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 during a Reddit Ask Me Anything session this week. "I'm using an Android Galaxy Z Fold 3." I experiment with various ones. "With this screen, I can get by with a great portable PC, a phone, and nothing else," Bill Gates commented. One of the reasons he might be using a Samsung phone is the integration with Windows as a result of Samsung close partnership with Microsoft. Gates has previously stated that he prefers an Android phone to an iPhone, but this is the first time he has specifically identified the device.
The Microsoft Surface Duo has similar features to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3.

The base variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage costs $1,926. The 512GB storage option costs approximately $2,029. Both models are available in Phantom Black and Phantom Green.

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 has a 6.2-inch HD+ AMOLED 2X display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. This display measures 7.6 inches when unfolded and has a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is powered by a 5nm 64-bit octa-core processor and has 12GB of RAM as well as 256GB and 512GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs Android 11, which can be upgraded to Android 12. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 optimises the foldable aspect with enhanced Flex mode features, Multi-Active Window, a new taskbar, and App Pair.
The phone comes with a triple-lens camera setup that includes three 12-megapixel lenses for ultra-wide, wide-angle, and telephoto shots. At the front, there are two under-display selfie shooters, one on the cover display and one on the inside display. There's a 10-megapixel lens on the front and a 4-megapixel lens on the back.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 has a 4400 mAh battery and weighs 271 grammes, which is slightly less than the Galaxy Fold 2.
