Vivo has announced two new T-Series smartphones in Malaysia. The first is the Vivo T1X 4G, which features a 90Hz display, Snapdragon 680, and triple 50-megapixel cameras. The Vivo T1 5G is the second T-branded phone to be available in Malaysia.

Vivo was launched the Snapdragon 778G-powered Vivo T1 5G in China in October 2021. The Vivo T1 5G with Snapdragon 695 was introduced in India in February 2022. In Malaysia, it has now revealed a new Vivo T1 5G with Snapdragon 778G onboard. Does it appear to be perplexing? All three phones have the same name but are different.
Vivo T1 5G specifications and features
The Vivo T1 5G boasts a teardrop notch display with a 6.44-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 1,300 nits of brightness, and HDR10+ support. It has a fingerprint scanner built into the screen. The Snapdragon 778G chipset-powered phone has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The phone is powered by Android 12 with FunTouch OS on top.

The front-facing camera on the Vivo T1 5G is 16 megapixels. It has a main camera with 64 megapixels, an ultrawide lens with 8 megapixels, and a macro camera with 2 megapixels. It includes a 4,700mAh battery with 66W rapid charging capability. In India, it appears that this phone will be redesigned as the Vivo T1 Pro 5G.
Vivo T1 5G pricing and availability
The Vivo T1 5G costs MYR 1,299 (about $300). The smartphone is available in two colours: Turbo Black and Turbo Cyan.
The Vivo T1 5G that has arrived in Malaysia is not the same as the Vivo T1 5G that has landed in China. A 6.67-inch LCD FHD+ 120Hz punch-hole screen, a Snapdragon 778G CPU, 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage, a 5,000mAh battery, 44W fast charging, a 16-megapixel front camera, and a 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera unit are among the features of the latter.
