The OnePlus 10 Pro gets the majority of things right, with a few areas that could have been improved here and there. We've already talked about how the phone stacks up against the Samsung Galaxy S22+ and its predecessor, the OnePlus 9 Pro. But we haven't yet discussed how it compares to Apple latest flagship model, the iPhone 13.

Of course, anyone who is used to the iOS ecosystem should go with the iPhone 13, and if you don't want to leave Android but don't have a tight budget, the OnePlus 10 Pro is a viable option. However, for consumers who are familiar with both the iOS and Android platforms, the final decision clearly depends on their personal needs. This is due to the fact that the iPhone and the OnePlus phone each have their own set of advantages and disadvantages.

The base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model of the OnePlus 10 Pro costs Rs 66,999. The most expensive model has 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage and costs Rs 71,999.
In comparison, the iPhone 13 starts at Rs 79,900 for the 128GB storage model. The other two variants, with 256GB and 512GB storage, retail for Rs 89,900 and Rs 1,09,900, respectively. However, e-commerce platforms such as Croma, Amazon, Flipkart, and Reliance Digital, among others, are selling the iPhone 13 for as little as Rs 61,999 after a bank discount and exchange offer.
Good and Bad
The iPhone 13 is a better choice if you want a stylish phone that is also easy to use. The iPhone 13 has a minimalist design that is both elegant and sophisticated. The 10 Pro, on the other hand, appears to be more daring, with a massive camera bump and large sensors, but it lacks class. In terms of design, I believe the predecessor, the OnePlus 9 Pro, is far superior to the latest OnePlus.

The iPhone is small and lightweight, making it ideal for use as a daily driver. It has a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with a wide notch at the top and weighs 174 grammes, which is significantly less than the OnePlus phone.
The OnePlus 10 Pro has a much larger screen, which may be uncomfortable to use all day if you have small hands like mine. It has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, a screen resolution of 3216 x 1440 pixels, a refresh rate of 120hz, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top. However, the 10 Pro makes a lot more sense for gamers and users who watch a lot of videos and engage in social media activities.

In terms of performance, both the iPhone 13 and the OnePlus 10 Pro deliver excellent results. The iPhone is powered by Apple's most recent and advanced A15 Bionic chipset. The OnePlus 10 Pro is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 system-on-chip, Adreno 730, 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. The iPhone 13 is available in three storage capacities: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. Both devices are capable of multitasking and running high-graphics games smoothly. However, the A15 Bionic in the iPhone 13 is theoretically far more powerful than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

When compared to the OnePlus 9 Pro, the camera performance on the OnePlus 10 Pro has greatly improved. However, as we mentioned in our review, the performance of the telephoto camera could have been better. A 48-megapixel Sony IMX789 image sensor is combined with a 50-megapixel ultrawide angle lens and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens in the phone's triple rear camera system. Dual-LED flash is also supported.
In comparison, the iPhone 13 has a dual 12-megapixel sensor on the back panel, as well as dual-LED dual-tone flash and HDR support. The iPhone takes stunning photos with great details and accurate colours in all lighting conditions, including low light, which the predecessor lacked.
Overall, we believe that, while the iPhone 13 has a competent camera system, the camera system of the OnePlus 10 Pro is more versatile and enjoyable to use, with features such as 150-degree shots, a capable ultra-wide-angle camera, and features developed in collaboration with Hasselblad.
In terms of battery life, the OnePlus 10 Pro provides all-day backup. The phone is powered by a 5000mAh battery and comes with an 80W SUPERVOOC charging adapter. Apple has also significantly improved the battery performance of the iPhone 13 when compared to the previous iPhone 12. It is good for one full day of moderate use. Unfortunately, even though the lightning cable is included, the iPhone does not come with a charger.
In terms of software, both the iPhone 13 and the OnePlus 10 Pro excel. While iOS on the iPhone is more streamlined and well-designed, Android 12 with Oxygen OS on the OnePlus phone provides more features. All things considered, my personal preference is for iOS because it is less cluttered than the Oxygen OS and because Apple has a great track record of providing regular iOS updates to its iPhones.
