Master reset code for Samsung Galaxy Phone

There are two types of master reset code for Samsung Galaxy mobile phones, first with settings menu and second with hardware keys.

First: Master reset from setting menu

A master reset restores the original factory settings and may delete any personal data on the internal storage, including downloaded content, ringtones, images, apps, and contacts. It does not erase any data on the SIM card or SD card.

Step 2: Tap the Menu button from any Home screen.

Step 4: Scroll down to and select Privacy.

Step 5: If desired, uncheck the Automatic restore check box.

Step 6: Then tap the Automatic Restore checkbox to turn it off.

Step 8: If desired, Then check or uncheck the Format USB storage box.

Step 9: Select Reset phone.

Second: Master reset with hardware keys

If the device menus are not working then you can use hardware keys to perform a master reset. Follow these steps to perform a master reset:

Step 1: Back up all the data on the internal storage.
