The price of Oppo Reno 7 5G and Reno 7 Pro 5G in India has once again surfaced online ahead of its official launch. The upcoming vanilla Oppo Reno 7 5G, China variant is said to be completely different from the Oppo Reno 7 and Reno 7 SE. This smartphone is said to have an octa core MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC and a 64-megapixel primary camera. Oppo Reno 7 5G and Reno 7 Pro 5G are launching in the Indian market on Friday, February 7.

According to the tipster, the Oppo Reno 7 5G price in India will be Rs. 29,990 for the single 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, while the Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G price will be Rs. 39,990 for the single 12GB + 256GB model. The suggested pricing differs from what was previously reported from a retailer listing. The Reno 7 5G was then said to cost Rs. 31,490 for the 8GB + 128GB model.

Oppo Reno 7 5G India variant specifications (expected)
Ambhore has also tweeted the rumoured specifications of the Oppo Reno 7 5G India variant, as well as some renders of the upcoming phone design. The specifications mention a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC, 8GB RAM, and 5GB virtual RAM expansion. The chipset is not the same as the Snapdragon 778G found in the Reno 7 5G in China. The Indian variant is also said to have a triple rear camera setup, including a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter.

The Oppo Reno 7 5G is said to have a front-facing 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 selfie camera sensor. The selfie camera differs from the Sony IMX709 sensor found on the Chinese variant.
In India, Oppo is said to offer a 4,500mAh battery with 65W SuperVOOC fast charging on the Reno 7 5G. The phone will reportedly feature a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Furthermore, the Oppo Reno 7 5G in India is said to be 7.81mm thick and weigh 173 grams. The Chinese equivalent was 7.59 mm thick and weighed 185 grams.
The Reno 7 5G in India is believed to be a rebranded version of the earlier Reno 7 SE 5G, which was released alongside the Reno 7 and Reno 7 Pro in China. On the other hand, the new specifications reported by Ambhore indicate differences - mainly in the camera.
The Reno 7 SE 5G Chinese variant came with a triple rear camera setup that included a 48-megapixel Sony IMX581 primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The phone also had a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 selfie camera sensor.
Unlike the Reno 7 5G, the Reno 7 Pro 5G in India is expected to be the same model that was launched in China. MediaTek also confirmed that the India version of the Reno 7 Pro 5G will be powered by the same custom-designed MediaTek Dimensity 1200 Max SoC that is available on its Chinese counterpart. Apart from this, the phone will come with ColorOS 12 out-of-the-box and will have SuperVooC fast charging.
It is worth noting, the exact details about the Reno 7 series in India are yet to be officially revealed. Therefore, it is safe to take the reported information with a pinch of salt.
