According to popular leaker @OnLeaks, OnePlus will also release a scaled-down version of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 in India, dubbed the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite. He has collaborated with Smartprix to reveal the specifications of this upcoming smartphone.
According to the source, the phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC with 5G connectivity. This is the same chipset found in the recently announced Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G.
The device will be equipped with a 6.59-inch FHD 'fluid' display. According to the terminology, the screen could support a high refresh rate. However, it is unclear whether the display will be LCD or AMOLED.

In terms of camera, the phone will have a triple camera setup on the back, with a 64MP primary sensor and two unknown 2MP sensors. On the front, there will be a 16MP selfie camera.
Unfortunately, the smartphone software remains a mystery. However, because the vanilla CE 2 is said to run OxygenOS 12, which is based on Android 12, the CE 2 Lite may also come with the same software.
Finally, the phone chassis will house a large 5,000mAh battery. This cell will support 33W fast charging, allowing it to be charged quickly.
In terms of release date, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite may be available alongside the OnePlus Nord CE 2 on February 11.
