ZTE is preparing to launch the Nubia Z40 Pro in its home market. The handset will be available in China on February 25th. The Nubia flagship was discovered on the Geekbench benchmark database a few weeks ago, revealing some of the key specifications. The Nubia Z40 Pro with model number NX701J has now been discovered on the 3C certification website. According to the certification website, Nubia, like Apple and Samsung, will not include the charging brick in the box.
The 3C listing for the upcoming Nubia flagship clearly states that the device will be sold without a power adapter; this does not appear to be a wise decision.
Nubia Z40 Pro Specs
ZTE has begun revealing key features of the upcoming device ahead of its launch next week. The teaser images show that the phone will have a curved display with a punch hole notch in the centre. According to the teasers, the Z40 Pro will have a glass sandwich design with a metal chassis. The device has been teased in two colours: silver and grey. On both colour variants, the power button will have a red accent colour.
The device appeared in the Geekbench benchmark database, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and an Adreno 730 GPU. Nubia has now officially confirmed that the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. In addition, the device was discovered with 16GB of RAM and Android 12 on the benchmark database.
The device will include a triple rear camera setup as well as an LED flash. The primary sensor will have an aperture of f/1.6 and will also support OIS. The device will have a 4,200mAh battery unit under the hood. It will be capable of fast charging at a whopping 120W. However, the lack of a charger will undoubtedly appear to be a bottleneck.
