Xiaomi is gearing up for the launch of its latest flagship series in the global markets. But ahead of its launch, the company Xiaomi 12 made an appearance on Geekbench which also revealed some of its key specifications.
As per a report by MySmartPrice, the base model of the 12 series has just been spotted on the known benchmarking platformq. This device comes with 8GB of RAM and runs on Android 12 OS out of the box for the global market. The device made an appearance on Geekbench 5 with model number 2201123G and managed to score 711 points in the single core test. On the other hand, it scored 2834 marks in the multi-core test.
Furthermore, the listing also showcases the Xiaomi 8 Global Edition powered by Qualcomm latest and greatest Snapdragon 12 Gen 1 SoC. However, the Chinese tech giant may launch the device in a RAM configuration outside just 8GB. For those unaware, the China version of the flagship handset also includes Android 12. Unfortunately, no finer details were shared in the Geekbench listing, so we are yet to get all the details about it.
The global launch of the new high-end 12 series from Xiaomi is expected in February or March, with an Indian launch soon followed. In another recent report, we also spotted the Xiaomi 12 series on the Indonesia Telecom certification database, which also hints at its upcoming launch.
