HMD Global is currently working on the Nokia G21, which will replace the Nokia G20 that was launched in India in July 2021. It is a mid-range device and will reportedly launch in the Indian market soon.
According to a recent report by 91Mobiles, HMD Global may soon launch the new Nokia G21 in India as well as the device was recently spotted on the FCC certification website and also appeared on a Russian retailers website ahead of the launch. Furthermore, tipster Mukul Sharma has revealed via 91Mobiles that the device will launch in India next month. This report reveals that NOKIA G21 will be seen in the Indian market soon.
Let us tell you, NPU had earlier spotted the Nokia G21 on a Russian retail website. The listing revealed its key specifications even before the launch of the device. As per the listing, the Nokia G21 sports a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel secondary camera, and a 2-megapixel tertiary camera. The device will have an 8-megapixel camera on the front for taking a selfie. Additionally, it will be made available in two RAM configurations: 3GB and 4GB.
According to an earlier report by GizmoChina, the Nokia G21 will feature a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1600x720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. It will be powered by an unknown octa-core processor, which could be a 4G Unisoc chipset. The device will come with 128GB of internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card. All this will be backed by a 5,050mAh battery with support for fast charging. The report also mentions that the device will launch in Black and Dusk color options.
The price of the only 4GB RAM / 64GB internal storage variant of the Nokia G20 is Rs 12,999. The smartphone is available on the Nokia India website and Amazon India in Glacier and Night color options.
