Realme 9i is ready for its first sale in India today. The smartphone was earlier scheduled to go on sale for its first time on January 25. Launched a few days back, the Realme 9i is the successor to the Realme 8i, which was unveiled in September last year. Coming to the smartphone display, it gets you an adaptive refresh rate and its battery sports fast charging. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC and features a triple camera setup at the back. Realme 9i was first introduced in Vietnam.

The Realme 9i is available in two storage variants: 4GB and 6GB. The 4GB+64GB storage variant costs Rs 13,999, while the 6GB+128GB storage variant costs Rs 15,999. The smartphone is available in a two variants of colours, including Prism Black and Prism Blue. The Realme 9i will go on sale early on January 22, i.e. today. At 12 p.m., the smartphone will be available for purchase on Realme online store, Flipkart, and in offline stores.

The Realme 9i is the company latest offering in the low-cost segment, but the phone has intriguing specifications. The Realme 9i has a 6.6-inch Full-HD+ LCD display with adaptive refresh rate. This means that the refresh rate of the smartphone can vary from 30Hz to 90Hz depending on the content displayed on the screen. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage in the smartphone. The phone runs Realme UI 2.0, which is based on Android 11.
The Realme 9i has a triple camera setup on the back, including a 50-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel portrait camera. For selfies, there is a 16-megapixel camera on the front.

The Realme 9i is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. According to the company, it can charge a battery from 0 to 100 in 70 minutes. There is a USB Type-C port as well as other connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
