Poco X4 5G Receives BIS Certification, Launched Soon in India

The much awaited Poco X4 5G smartphone has been spotted on a certification website, indicating that it will soon be launched in India. Poco X4 series smartphones will be launched globally in the coming days. From the upcoming lineup, this phone has been spotted on several certification websites. And now, the listing on the Malaysian certification website confirms the Poco X4 5G moniker is going to hit the globally markets soon.

This Poco phone was rumoured to be the POCO X4 NFC at first. In addition, the same device is said to have passed through the BIS (Bearue of Indian Standards) certification website. However, it is worth noting that Poco has yet to reveal its plans for the X4 lineup. Mukul Sharma, a reputed leaker, first spotted the Poco X4 5G on a Malaysian certification site. According to the leak, the Xiaomi 2201116PG smartphone will be released globally under the Poco X4 5G moniker.

Furthermore, the same device, model number 2201116PI, was seen on the BIS website. This indicates that the POCO X4 5G smartphone will be available in India soon. As if that wasn't enough, another well-known leaker, Abhishek Yadav, also seen the Xiaomi 2201116PG on the FCC website. The alleged Poco X4 5G smartphone will run MIUI 13 and support NFC, according to the listing. Furthermore, previous leaks indicate that the Poco X4 5G will be released as a rebranded version of the Chinese variant of the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G.

What else to expect?

The Poco M4 Pro 5G is the global name for the Chinese version of the Redmi Note 11. Poco is reportedly going to use the same strategy for the Poco X4 5G. Furthermore, the Redmi Note 11 Pro is set to go global on January 26, with an official launch event. Aside from that, Poco is expected to reveal some important details about the Poco X4 5G at the launch event.

Furthermore, a new leak indicates that the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G will be packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. It will have a 6.67-inch display with a refresh rate of 120Hz up front. In terms of camera, the phone will reportedly have four rear mounted cameras, each with a massive 108MP main sensor.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G Global Edition will reportedly come with a Snapdragon 690 chipset, furthermore it is likely to ship with 6GB/8GB LPDDR4x RAM and offer 128GB of internal UFS 2.2 storage. As mentioned, the phone will launch globally on January 26.
