According to reports, Motorola is preparing to launch the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra flagship phones in global markets. According to new information shared by XDA Developers, the Ultra model will support the Motorola Smart Stylus. According to the report, the company has designed a special Folio Case that can be used to store the stylus, as shown in the schematics image below.
Motorola Smart Stylus
As per the publication, the Motorola Smart Stylus connects to the smartphone via Bluetooth. The stylus supports air gestures and wireless charging. Plus, it can also be used as an Air Mouse with an external display. The Smart Stylus will be different from the stylus that will be shipped with the Moto G Stylus 2022 mid-range phone. The Smart Stylus is likely to be an advanced device like the S Pen that the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra has been designed for.
Motorola Edge 30 Ultra Folio Case
The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra Folio Case can be used to stow the smart stylus at the back. The device will alert the user when the stylus is out of the case and not in use for a long time. Users can set the app to launch automatically when the stylus is removed from the case. When it is placed inside the case, it charges automatically.
When going to the front of the case, an open bar has been given in the middle to see the display. This bar can show always on display content such as time, date, and notifications. If there is an incoming call, users can answer or reject it through the display strip without opening the case.
The publication claims that "Folio Case" is not the final marketing name, and that the company may offer it with a different nickname. It is unclear whether the Smart Stylus and Folio Case will be unveiled alongside the Edge 30 Ultra.
