Google Pixel Watch may finally arrive on May 26 check Features and All Details

Google Pixel Watch

If you plan to buy a smartwatch, then just wait a few more days, because Google smartwatch can be launched in May. According to a new leak by tipster John Prosser, Google may release the Pixel Watch on May 26 this year. So far, many leaks and renders of Google Smartwatch have been revealed, but so far the company has not given any official information about the watch. It was previously speculated that Google would announce the Pixel Watch at Google IO 2021. However, things did not go according to plan. Google announced other rumored products, including the Pixel 6, Pixel 5a, but the Pixel Watch did not.

Launch date

Well-known tipster John Prosser, whose predictions about most of the product launch come true, said in a tweet that the Google Pixel Watch might finally arrive on May 26. "Pixel Watch. I hear Google is planning to launch it on Thursday, May 26th - ever since we leaked it. This is the first time we've seen a set date on the device behind the scenes. He told Google Dates have been known to be pushed back - but if they do, we'll know." The date also corresponds to the Google I/O Developer Conference.

Earlier, Prosser had speculated that the Watch might come with the Pixel 6, but then it was revealed that the launch has been delayed. He also shared the full render of the Pixel Watch in a YouTube video.

Watch 3D renders have also been leaked

According to leaks and renders, the Pixel Watch will be offered by the company in the premium watch segment. The 3D renders reveal that the smartwatch may come in a slim form factor and a curved display that wraps around a metal frame. On the right side of the dial, a huge crown button was shown but the functionality of the button was not mentioned in the report. Nothing is known about the watch's specs, but in the renders, some trackers, including Maps integration, heart rate monitoring, and step counter, were seen on the watch home screen.

Features

Google had earlier sent out a survey asking people about the features they would like to see on Wear OS. The feature list included things like SPO2 (oxygenation) tracking, sleep apnea detection, sleep analysis, heartbeat alert, recovery time monitoring, stress tracking, pairing of medical devices and gym equipment, rape detection and calorie tracking. Some of the features and trackers listed above may come to the Pixel Watch.
