Xiaomi 12 Pro has received over 1,10,000 per order ahead of its launch. In a few days, Xiaomi will unveil its flagship Xiaomi 12 series. However, the devices in the lineup are already available for pre-order. According to a report, Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro have received over 2,00,000 reservations since they went on pre-orders. Pre-orders are now available on platforms like JD.com and Tmall.
The report also includes reservation numbers. According to Xiaomi, the regular Xiaomi 12 has received 98,000 reservations, with 18,000 and 80,000 reservations on TMall and JD.com, respectively. The Xiaomi 12 Pro, on the other hand, has surpassed 110,000 pre-orders, with 21,000 and 92,000 reservations on TMall and JD.com, respectively.
According to a video released lately, the Xiaomi 12 Pro has a 2K display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It's an E5 AMOLED panel, which uses less energy than traditional OLED displays. This device refresh rate is variable and can go as low as 1Hz.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU will power the Xiaomi 12 Pro, which will be combined with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage. Aside from that, it's possible that it'll run Android 12 with MIUI 13 on top.
In another teaser, Xiaomi demonstrated the 12 Pro ability to keep temperatures steady over long gaming sessions. While playing King of Glory, the Xiaomi 12 Pro managed to control the temperature at 43.5 degrees Celsius (aka Honor of Kings). And this was after 30 minutes of gameplay at the highest frame rate possible.
Furthermore, tipster Evan Blass revealed the design of the Xiaomi 12, which appears to sport a different design than its predecessor. It has a rectangular camera module at the back that houses triple rear cameras and an LED flash. While the front has a centered punch-hole display.
The Xiaomi 12 is expected to sport a triple rear camera system consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera. It will have Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Xiaomi can offer this device with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Furthermore, it is expected to feature 4500mAh with 67W fast charging.
