The Vivo S12 series is all set to arrive on December 22nd and we already have official renders. But the renders never do any justice and one can see the phone in all its glory either through hands-on experience or at least through real-life images. While we've actually leaked a few Live Photos in the past, they were kind of teasers and hardly showed much.
But now that has changed, courtesy of “Technology Small Cloth” on Weibo, which has posted three high-quality images each of both the Vivo S10 and S10 Pro. The S12 has a boxier design and is showcased in gold with a subtle gradient finish while the S12 Pro is rounder and sports a charcoal black colour. The colors of both the phones get a touch of extra elegance through the use of some glitter which not only makes them more dazzling but also gives them a bit of texture.
Upfront, both the phones have dual selfie cameras. On the Vivo S12 Pro, the primary selfie camera is expected to be a 50MP sensor, paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens. The two cameras housed within the notch, which might seem a little more intrusive than the single punch-hole selfie cameras, are a fair trade-off as they promise the ultimate selfie shooting experience.
The images further reveal that the Vivo S12 series comes with extremely thin bezels, at least on three sides. The S12 Pro appears to be a bit more premium and the inclusion of a curved display should make it feel a little better in the hand. The chins of both the devices have been cropped in the images, though we are positive that they will be noticeably thinner considering the premium overall design.
Moving on to the specs, rumors say that the S12 Pro will be powered by a Dimensity 1200 chipset and feature a 6.5-inch OLED panel at the front. The battery is expected to be around 4,200mAh with support for 44W fast charging. But perhaps the most unique feature of the device comes in the form of dual front-facing LED flash, which is housed in the top bezel.
