The iQOO U5 5G has been listed ahead of schedule on platforms such as Jingdong Mall, and the listings have confirmed multiple specifications as well as the phone release date.
According to an official revealed image, the phone is outfitted with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chip – a faster mid-tier 5G offering that aims to replace the Snapdragon 690. The phone will also have a large 5000mAh battery and a waterdrop notch up front, as previously revealed. Because of the 120Hz refresh rate support, the display will be ultra-smooth.
According to the image, the iQOO U5 5G will come in three colours: white, light blue, and charcoal black. The white and light blue colours appear to have a gradient finish that shifts colours depending on the angle from which you look at the device.
Unfortunately, no price has been announced as of yet, but given that a press conference for the device is scheduled for tonight, we should know soon. Nonetheless, we know from reports that a pre-sale will begin four days from now – on December 24th.
According to a listing on the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the iQOO U5 5G has model number V2165A, a 6.58-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 24081080, measures 16475.848.25mm, and weighs approximately 185g. The charging power is rated at 18W, and there is a 50MP dual-camera setup at the back paired with an 8MP selfie shooter up front for photography.
