We previously reported on the upcoming Realme GT 2 series launch date, which is set to begin in China on January 4. Realme has now officially teased the device, providing us with our first look at the upcoming Realme GT 2 Pro.
Vogue Italy has shown off the upcoming Realme GT 2 Pro, revealing the device design profile through live images. The device illustrations show a distinct stylistic approach developed in collaboration with renowned Japanese industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa.
This smartphone design is said to be Paper Tech Master Design, which is inspired by paper and provides a premium aesthetically pleasing look. Aside from its design, the GT 2 Pro is the world first bio-based smartphone. According to Realme, the phone back cover is made of bio-polymer material, which is a more environmentally friendly alternative to fossil raw materials.
The teased images confirm a triple camera module featuring 50MP primary cameras, the world's first 150-degree 50MP ultrawide camera and a telephoto lens. There is also a dual-LED flash on the camera bump.
Additionally, ITHome has reported that the upcoming Realme GT 2 Pro has been spotted on e-commerce websites revealing key specs of the device. These include Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, 6.51-inch FHD+ Super OLED screen, high refresh rate, under-screen fingerprint recognition, 5000mAh battery and Realme UI 3.0. It is also said that the phone will have a new antenna array matrix system that will power the connectivity features of the GT2 Pro.
The device is set to release in the Chinese market on January 4, 2022. So stay tuned while we cover the official launch event.
