Rumors about the launch of the Realme 9 series of smartphones have been doing the rounds on the internet for quite some time. A few days ago 91mobiles first revealed the renders and key specifications of the Realme 9i, also revealed that the phone could be called the Realme Narzo 9i in India and recently the RAM, storage and color options of the Realme Narzo 9i. has been disclosed. Now, according to MySmartPrice, the Relame 9i has been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking website, indicating that it will be launching soon. There is a possibility that the phone may be available in January 2022.

This week, the Geekbench listing for the Realme 9i with model number RMX3491 was discovered. According to the listing, the phone is powered by a Snapdragon 680 CPU. The 4G chipset was unveiled earlier this year and has a maximum clock speed of 2.4GHz. As a result, the future Realme 9i will be a 4G phone rather than a 5G phone.

The smartphone comes with Android 11 pre-loaded, with Realme UI 2.0 OS expected to be put on top.

The smartphone had already been listed on AliExpress, with key specifications and colour options revealed. According to the listing, the phone will be available in Black and Blue. It will have a 5,000mAh battery and support for 33W rapid charging. A 6.59-inch Full HD+ LCD display will be included on the gadget. It will reportedly have a refresh rate of 90Hz.
The phone has a 50MP triple back camera setup and a 16MP front camera sensor housed in the punch hole cutout in the camera department. Other significant features of the smartphone include a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a side mounted fingerprint scanner.
