OnePlus rolls out OxygenOS 12 update for OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro |
OxygenOS 12 will be rolled out to the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro once again. The update was rolled out a few days ago by the smartphone company, but it was pulled back due to glitches and bugs reported by customers. Many users complained that their phones had stopped working properly after updating to the OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro. However, OnePlus has decided to roll out the update again.
The new Oxygen OS update is designated as C.39, while the previous version was designated as C.36. If you installed the C.36 version, you should install the C.39 version right away because it will fix the bugs and glitches in your phone. OnePlus appears to have addressed the issues found in the previous version of OxygenOS 12.
OxygenOS 12 for the OnePlus and 9 Pro was recently released. Your comments and suggestions have been received and forwarded to the product team. As always, we appreciate them greatly and immediately began working on releasing an update to address the issues you were experiencing. In this build, we focused on resolving the most recently reported issues, such as the failure to connect to mobile data in certain scenarios, phone notifications not being visible, freeze issues, some display issues, and so on. "This update has already reached a few users and will continue to roll out in stages," OnePlus said on its community page.
OnePlus has resolved the issue with the auto-fill feature in Chrome as well as the temporary lack of access to the Ultra HD 48M / AUX camera on GCam. The company improved the smoothness of fingerprint locking, optimised system power consumption, resolved the issue of screen tearing when returning to the home screen in some games, and updated the Android Security Patch to 2021.12. It has also improved a few camera features, such as the image effect of the rear camera and the application's startup speed, among others.
The OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro were the first smartphones to receive the OxygenOS 12 update, following the merger of OnePlus and Oppo. However, shortly after the new OS was roll out, it was met with complaints from users who encountered bugs and glitches, such as customisation options, network issues, or general build stability issues, prompting the company to withdraw it from the market.
