MIUI 13 to be focused on system fluency and stability

Rumors are rife that Xiaomi 12 will be the first phone to debut with MIUI 13 out of the box. Earlier, a company executive revealed that it is using MIUI 13, and now the company has revealed major improvements to the software on MIUI 12.5.

Xiaomi claims that the upcoming version of MIUI will focus mostly on smoothness and fluency. Compared to the previous version, MIUI 13 will see a 15% to 52% increase in system throughput.

Apps will open faster, and frame drop rate will be reduced by about 90%. MIUI 13 will also have Focus Computing 2.0, Liquid Storage and Atomic Memory, which will accelerate read and write.

Furthermore, the company's CEO Lei Jun has shared a survey on Weibo asking what features users expect in the upcoming MIUI 13. Most of the users reported that they expect the software to be bug-free.

It seems that Xiaomi has already focused on the stability of MIUI 13 and hence listed such options in the survey. It should be noted that MIUI 13 for Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro smartphones will run on top of Android 12 OS.

Recently, the company revealed the list of its first batch of phones to receive the update. The first batch of phones includes Xiaomi 11 Ultra, Xiaomi 11, Redmi K40 Pro, K40 Pro+ and Xiaomi 11 Youth Edition. Interestingly, the company is also testing MIUI 13 on the 2019 Redmi Note 8, which may get an official update in the next batch.
