We reported the leaked protective cases for the incoming Xiaomi 12 range, which includes the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and Xiaomi 12 Ultra, a few days ago. While the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro have comparable rear looks, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra left us wondering if the phone will follow the case's huge and sophisticated rear camera module design. We now have the answers to your inquiries.
Through our industry contacts, we've obtained exclusive photographs of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra casing, which reveal the same design as past leaks. This design for the next device has also been verified, according to our sources.

So, what will go within the case eight cutouts for the rear camera module? To begin with, the phone does not appear to have a secondary display panel, which was included in its predecessor, the Xiaomi 11 Ultra. According to previous rumours, the phone would sport a quad-camera system with a 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 main sensor that will fill the huge centre cutout. A 48-megapixel camera with 2x zoom, a 48-megapixel camera with 5x zoom, and another 48-megapixel camera with 10x zoom were said to be the other three cameras.

Other leaks indicate that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra may include Leica's technology, despite the fact that Leica's partnership with Huawei ended earlier this year. The remaining four cutouts are expected to house an LED flash, a noise-cancelling microphone, and other sensors.
Aside from the camera module, the cases reveal that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will have the power button and volume rocker on the right side, a USB-C port, speaker grill, and mic at the bottom, and another speaker grill on top.
The Xiaomi 12 Ultra is almost certainly going to have Qualcomm latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Soc, as well as a 120Hz OLED display with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, a 4500mAh battery, and support for 120W fast charging.
Apart from that, not much is known about the upcoming device, but we expect to learn more about it in the coming days before its official release.
