Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has expanded its Y-series with a new smartphone. The portfolio now includes Vivo Y76s but this phone was first introduced in China. The device comes with MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC which also has 44W fast charging technology. There is a dewdrop notch display on the front while there is a dual camera set up at the back which houses a 50MP main sensor.

Vivo Y76s comes with Dewdrop Style 6.58-inch Full HD+ display, which offers 1,080×2,408 pixels resolution. The aspect ratio of the screen is 20: 9 and the screen to body ratio is 90.61. The phone runs on OriginOS 1.0 on top of Android 11. The device is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage options. The memory can be expanded up to 1TB with the help of microSD card.
For photos and videos, there is a dual camera setup on the rear of the Viv Y76s. The camera system includes a 50-megapixel main sensor with an aperture of f/1.8 and a 2-megapixel macro lens for close-up photography. In the case of selfie, the company has given an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.
In addition, the handset packs a 4,100mAh battery, which is claimed to deliver 16 hours of talk time on a full charge. The battery supports 44W flash fast charging technology. Apart from the side-mounted fingerprint sensor, other sensors on the phone include magnetometer, ambient light, accelerometer, proximity sensor, and gyroscope. Whereas for connectivity, there are 5G, 4G VoLTE, GPS / AGPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack and Type C port for charging.

Vivo Y76s price and availability
Vivo Y76s has been launched in China with a price tag of CYN 1,799 which is around Rs 20,800 for 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and CYN 1,999 that comes at Rs 23,200 for 8GB RAM with 256GB storage model. The device is offered in three color options of Star Diamond White, Starry Night Black and Galaxy Blue. The phone has been listed on the company's website, but the company has not yet informed about its availability.
