The Chinese smartphone manufacturer is said to be hard at work on a new smartphone dubbed the Realme GT 2 Pro. While nothing has been confirmed, the rumoured smartphone has been making the rounds recently. Last month, the device passed EEC and was listed in the IMEI database. The aforementioned listings, as expected, reveal some key specifications of the upcoming handset.
Aside from the Realme GT2 Pro, the Realme 9 Pro Plus and Realme 9i were also certified by the Eurasian EEC website last month. This year, Realme deviated from its usual release schedule. Realme usually releases lineups like the X70, X80, and so on. This year, however, it launched a new line of flagship smartphones called the Realme GT 5G. Regrettably, information about the newly announced series has been limited. A well-known leaker has shed more light on one of the upcoming smartphones.

Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed the Realme GT 2 Pro smartphone's pricing and launch details ahead of time. According to the leaked information, the GT 2 Pro will be available in China early next year. Furthermore, the leaker claims that the handset will cost around CNY 4,000. This equates to approximately INR 46,500 and $625. Furthermore, Realme may release a special variant for around CNY 5,000 (approximately INR 58,000 and $781). The official pricing will be announced by the company at the launch.

The Realme GT 2 Pro smartphone is expected to have a 6.51-inch Super AMOLED display with a Full-HD+ (10802400 pixel) resolution. In addition, the screen will most likely have a punch hole cutout to accommodate the front shooter. The phone will include an in display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. According to previous reports, it will have thin bezels. The display will have a 20:9 aspect ratio, a high refresh rate, and a pixel density of 404ppi.

In terms of optics, the Realme GT 2 Pro is said to have three cameras on the back. Furthermore, the GT 2 Pro could come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The phone will most likely run the latest Android 12 operating system. It will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging. The handset has a Type-C port, a headphone jack, 5G, NFC, GPS, Bluetooth 5.1, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
