The design sketches for the rumoured Realme GT 2 Fold smartphone have leaked online, revealing some key specifications. To the delight of Realme fans, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has hinted at the impending release of its first-ever foldable smartphone. Aside from that, Realme has begun to tease smartphones with an under-display front-facing camera.
Earlier this year, Realme revealed its intention to enter the premium smartphone market. The well-known brand has announced the release of a device that will cost more than $800. If previous reports are to be believed, the rumoured handset will be launched in 2022. In other words, Realme may launch its first foldable smartphone next year, ushering in a new market segment. The rumoured Realme GT 2 Fold has surfaced online in the form of design sketches prior to its launch.

Realme GT 2 Fold Design Sketches
Regrettably, the company has remained tight-lipped about the foldable smartphone exact release date. Despite the lack of official confirmation, Realme GT 2 Fold design sketches have leaked online. According to the leaked design, Realme first foldable smartphone could use a folding mechanism similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
In addition, the GT 2 Fold will have a massive 8-inch foldable AMOLED display with a hole-punch cut out for the front camera. There is still a lack of information about the refresh rate.

What Else To Expect?
Realme first foldable phone, according to MySmartPrice, will have a high refresh rate of 120Hz. According to the report, the device will have a 6.5-inch AMOLED display. The top right corner of the screen will have a hole punched cutout. However, because the Realme GT 2 Fold will be the company first foldable device, an under-screen camera is highly unlikely. Aside from that, under-screen camera technology is still in its early stages. Furthermore, it does not provide high-quality imaging.
