Samsung will unveil a new generation of flagship smartphones – the Galaxy S22 series – at the start of next year. The timing of these devices entering the market has been named by authoritative insider Jon Prosser, whose information has previously been confirmed.
Pre-orders for Samsung Galaxy S22 smartphones will start on February 8
There will be three models in the series. The Galaxy S22 base model will have a 6.06-inch display and a 3,700 mAh battery. A triple camera with a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 12-megapixel unit with wide-angle optics, and a 10-megapixel telephoto module will be included.
The Galaxy S22 + will be a step up, with a 6.55-inch screen and a 4500 mAh battery. The camera configuration will be the same as in the base case.

The Galaxy S22 Ultra, with a 6.81-inch screen and a 5000 mAh battery, will be at the top of the lineup. The Quad-camera will have a pixel count of 108 + 12 + 10 + 10 million.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 or Samsung Exynos 2200 processor will be found in all new devices. The display refresh rate will be 120 Hz.
The devices' official unveiling is expected to take place in January or early February. According to John Prosser, the smartphones will be available for pre-order on February 8th, with shipments beginning on February 18th. However, we will almost certainly receive new confirmation on this in the coming weeks.

Samsung leads the smartphone market in Q3 2021
In the third quarter of this year, the International Data Corporation (IDC) released statistics on the global smartphone market. Shipments of smartphones have decreased.
Between July and September, 331.2 million smartphones were sold worldwide. In comparison, shipments in the previous year totalled 354.9 million units.

As a result, the annual drop was approximately 6.7 percent. This is primarily due to a scarcity of electronic components. Component production issues have impacted a wide range of industries. Computers and household appliances, the automotive industry, server equipment, and so on are all examples.
With a 20.8 percent share of the smartphone market in the third quarter, South Korean corporation Samsung was the dominant player. Apple comes in second place, accounting for approximately 15.2 percent of the global market. Xiaomi, a Chinese company, rounds out the top three with a 13.4 percent market share.
Then there are Vivo and Oppo, which have nearly identical results – 10.1 percent and 10.0 percent, respectively. Other smartphone vendors account for 30.5 percent of the global market.
