Apple recently launched the new MacBook Pro range at a starting price of Rs 1,94,900 for the 14-inch variant and Rs 2.39 lakh for the 16-inch variant. Now, for anyone who is buying a new MacBook Pro device, it is clear that they need to take care of it too. And Apple had just the right idea: sell a piece of cloth so that MacBook Pro users in particular can "safely and effectively" clean the device and display.

Apple polishing cloth: This cloth to clean Apple devices costs Rs 1,900
The funny thing is that Apple is charging Rs 1,900 for this piece of microfiber cloth and you have to buy it separately. Most high-end Windows laptops include a microfiber cloth inside the box for free.
Apple is calling it a "polishing cloth" and describes it as, "Made of a soft, non-abrasive material, the polishing cloth safely and effectively cleans any Apple display, including nano-textured glass."
Having said that there is no mention of how it is different from any microfiber cloth sold for around Rs 100. Of course, it goes without saying that this piece of clothing has the Apple logo on it.
The funny thing here is that Apple has also mentioned the compatibility list of devices for its polishing cloth. Thankfully, this cloth is "compatible" for cleaning all Apple devices currently available.
Not to forget, if you buy this fabric from the US, you will get it for $19 which translates to around Rs 1,430 and saves around Rs 500. Alternatively, you can go to the Amazon website and buy a pack of 5 for around Rs: 300.
