iQoo Z5x is all set to launch on Wednesday, October 20 in China. The Chinese company has teased some key specifications and colour options for the upcoming iQoo smartphone ahead of its launch. The iQoo Z5x will have a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC, a display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a 5,000mAh battery. According to previous reports, the iQoo Z5x will have a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 6.58-inch TFT display, up to 8GB of RAM, Android 11 out-of-the-box, and weigh 169 grammes.

iQoo Z5x Key specifications
A few posts on Weibo by iQoo have revealed some of the key specifications of the iQoo Z5x ahead of its launch tomorrow. According to a post, the new iQoo Z5x will be available in Fog Sea White, Lens Black, and Sandstone Orange. The smartphone's renders in the posts show a dual rear camera setup housed in a rectangular module. As shown in the images shared by the company on the microblogging site, the volume rocker and power button are located on the right spine of the iQoo Z5x, while a 3.5mm headphone jack, a speaker grille, and a microphone are located at the bottom.
Another Weibo post goes into detail about the iQoo Z5x display specifications. According to the post, the soon-to-be-released smartphone will have a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. A waterdrop-style notch, thin bezels on three sides, and a slightly thicker chin can be seen on the display.

iQoo Z5x features
As per the post, the iQoo Z5x will have a five-layer liquid cooling system for better heat dissipation. Liquid-cooled copper pipes, high thermal conductivity gel, large area graphite plates, and six temperature sensors will be used. Wi-Fi 6 connectivity will also be available on the iQoo smartphone.
As previously stated, iQoo has confirmed that its new smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC. The 5G-enabled SoC is built on a 6nm process and includes two Cortex-A78 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores.
According to a listing of the phone on a certification site, the iQoo Z5x will have a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. It is said to have an 8-megapixel primary selfie shooter on the front. The iQoo smartphone will have a 6.58-inch TFT display, as per the listing. It also mentions that the smartphone will have 6GB and 8GB RAM variants, as well as storage options of 128GB and 256GB.
